Say that 5 times fast!!! We loaded up the troops and headed down to Otter’s Totterville down in Covington, Kentucky today. This is what life is like with 5 kids in the bus. Poor Jackson! Do you see his little eyeballs popping up over the right side of Jasper’s seat? Seriously, we need an intercom system to talk to the kids in the back!

Okay, not really in a tub. However, they are all in the baby pool on the back deck. That my friends, is about as Hamiltucky as you get. When you put two 11 year old boys, a 5 year old, and a 3 year old in a baby pool…you might be a redneck.
Last night was an unusual night for both of my children. Usually, they are in bed by 8:00 during the summer and 7:30 during the winter. Last night we decided to skip the routine and let them stay up a little later, like 10:00 PM!
Ricky has been fishing every day with his Dad this week. We are so blessed that we came home right in the middle of his vacation. They had so much fun and caught a ton of keepers. So my question to them was “Where’s the Fish?”
So this morning I was getting everyone ready to go swimming. I had to get my cover up from outside where it had dried overnight. As I laid it on the floor in front of Lily’s room, this big, black hairy monster climbed out. I apologize to anyone within a 10 mile radius of our house. My shrieks were followed by the shrieks of Lily and Riley. Seriously, we were screeching at the top of our lungs.
Riley is such a goofball. I really wanted a sweet picture of him last night, and this is what I got.

Let me introduce you to Maddy, our almost 10 year old weimarainer. She was our first baby, even though she is gray and furry. She stayed with my sister while we were in Taiwan, and I like to think that she missed us. Don’t you love the smile in this picture?
I was awakened this morning at 5:30. I was not happy. After an early morning yesterday, I was ready to sleep in today. However, someone else had a different plan.
Oh my goodness! This has got to be one of the cutest dresses I have ever seen. My friend Jen sent me email about her sister starting a new business. She is making pillowcase dresses for little girls. I had to get one.
