So this morning I was getting everyone ready to go swimming. I had to get my cover up from outside where it had dried overnight. As I laid it on the floor in front of Lily’s room, this big, black hairy monster climbed out. I apologize to anyone within a 10 mile radius of our house. My shrieks were followed by the shrieks of Lily and Riley. Seriously, we were screeching at the top of our lungs.

Let me introduce you to Maddy, our almost 10 year old weimarainer. She was our first baby, even though she is gray and furry. She stayed with my sister while we were in Taiwan, and I like to think that she missed us. Don’t you love the smile in this picture?
Okay, so I am a slacker. Man, it was so much easier to keep up with things in Taiwan. When you only have 2 friends, no family, and no house you have much more time to blog. Home Sweet Home

After a total of 32 hours, we are home. It was a very long trip, but it was worth it. The kids were awesome!! We couldn’t have asked them to behave any better. They slept for 10 of the 12 hours on the long flight and 3 of the 4 hours on the last flight. Thanks to Alisa for sending us 2 new Nick Jr. Videos, the kids had some entertainment during our 7 hour layover in LA.
