You ask your daughter if she ate her lunch today. She says she was starving and ate everything, except the clams and octopus. Yes, that’s right, octopus! What an experience they have had here!
The team had the day off today, so Ricky let me sleep in until 10:45! It was a well needed rest and I appreciated it so much. Then he laid back down to take a nap. Boy, were we lazy this morning. It was actually a beautiful day here today and we were going to try and go to the outdoor pool this afternoon. I called Meggy Mommy to make sure they were open and they weren’t =( We were so sad. Hopefully we’ll have another nice day this week and get to go. So we decided to head over to the Eslite bookstore where we had gone last week.
By the time we got there we were starving. We were trying to find a restaurant called Cheffresh that supposedly has the best Western food in Tainan. But we couldn’t find it. We couldn’t even find anyone to help us find it. So we headed over to an Italian restaurant across from the field. Lou said that they have the best pizza, so we decided to try it out.
I found out something new about Winnie Mommy today, she is a licensed cook! What can’t these women in Taiwan do? She made lunch for all the teachers at school today. She made chicken curry, rice, and a couple other dishes that I’m not sure the names. One had some fish in it, one had pork, and one was a soup with eggs and corn.
Okay, so my last two posts may not seem very child friendly by the names of them. Boob tea and hairy meat. I am so sorry. I don’t make these things up, I promise! So anyway, on to the hairy meat. It all started when Lily came home from school a couple of weeks ago.
That’s right. I said boob tea. Not tea that makes your boobs grow, just tea with boobs in it. I’m trying to keep this g rated. This is a common drink here in Taiwan. It is also known as milk tea but this version has boobs in it. Fairly large black boobs to be exact. Here is a picture of them.
