Reassurance

I have to share with everyone a kind of private moment yesterday but one I’ve felt compelled to write about.  Ricky was sitting down to eat his lunch and he wanted me to pray.  I did and he started to eat.  Then he stopped and closed his eyes.

He sat like that for a few minutes and got a little emotional.  He opened his eyes and I asked if he wanted to tell me something. He said yes.  But he couldn’t find the words to tell me.  I asked him if he wanted to write it.  He said yes.  I got him pen and paper.

He wrote the following words just like this…

whith all things are possible

I get chills even typing that out.  I told him he is so right!  With God ALL things ARE possible.  How amazing is our God?!?  He spoke to me through a man that cannot speak.  Read that last sentence again.  He spoke to me through a man that cannot speak.  God is so good and he is just reassuring us both how close he truly is to us right now.

With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.

Matthew 19:26

You kids are the most amazing testimony I have heard in recent days. Every day I am blessed by what you share with us. I can hardly wait to check in every day. You are a joy! My love and prays continue.

Tracey, Thank you so much for sharing your blog with me. It is people like yourself and Ricky that really make my job rewarding. I think that both of you are extremely inspirational. You both have “Amazing Grace”. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
